Both 40-foot containers from our factory are now part of the beach promenade in Norddeich (Germany). On the newly created dune landscape at the water's edge west, the so-called "DECK", visitors can use the new sanitary facilities and learn about the special features of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.
The heated sanitary container consists of three areas, one of which is wheelchair accessible. Cleaning supplies can be stored in an additional storage room.
In the second container is the national park exhibition. Here the friendly staff of the National Park Administration "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea" informs visitors about everything worth knowing about the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The two containers are clad with larch wood on the outside and blend in perfectly with the dune landscape. All accesses are barrier-free.
For reasons of coastal protection, the containers are only located on the "plaza" of Water's Edge West between March and October. In addition to this, both containers can be dismantled and moved to safety within a time window of six to a maximum of twelve hours in the event of an impending storm surge.
We wish all visitors a great time on the new beach promenade in Norddeich.
