Excellent remodelling work at CHS
In November 2014, we began remodelling our company headquarters in Bremen. The construction project will expand our offices with an additional floor, which will have ten new rooms. Among other things, the new floor will provide space for a recreation room as well as a meeting room.
Since we didn't want to do things halfway, we also began modernising our production facilities. The entire heating system has already been replaced. In addition, we refurbished several factory doors and installed a new compressed air system. Within the next few weeks, the entire factory lighting system will be refitted with LED lamps.
In December 2014, Bremer Energie-Konsens GmbH awarded us the 'plietsch!' badge for our climate-friendly remodelling work. The term 'plietsch' comes from Low German and means 'clever' or 'intelligent'. Energie-Konsens GmbH gives this award exclusively to companies, institutions and private households that significantly reduce their energy consumption and CO2 emissions using targeted construction measures, thereby reducing costs. The modernisations we initiated allow theoretical annual energy savings of almost 50%. We think that's pretty 'clever'!
