Donation for the DKMS gGmbH
At the 22nd DKMS charity football tournament in Ritterhude, CHS Container Group from Bremen donated € 500 to DKMS Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei gemeinnützige Gesellschaft mbH (German Bone Marrow Donor Centre). A check for this amount was handed over by the company to the Ritterhude DKMS team led by Gerd Holzhauer. This money will now be used for typing potential bone marrow donors and will help to combat leukaemia.
"We hope our donation makes a small contribution to the fight against blood cancer. With a bit of luck, a human life might be saved by the typing we helped to finance. That would be wonderful," said Frank Pöser, one of the managing partners at the CHS Container Group.
