Container-Kiosk in Bremen’s Überseestadt

The dry spell has come to an end! Now there are cold and hot drinks as well as snacks available for visitors of the skate park and sports facilities in the Überseepark in Bremen’s Überseestadt. In the new kiosk you will find everything you need for your little hunger and thirst. Also new are the barrier-free and free-to-use toilets.

Bremen's Überseestadt is a new part of the Walle district and is located on the site of the former Überseehafen. In the heart of this young district lies the Überseepark with its public sports facilities and the large scale skate park. Today hardly anything reminds us of the exciting history of this place. When the old dock was still in operation, the first containers in Germany were unloaded here more than 50 years ago.

In reference to the historical background, the planners of the grounds naturally favoured a container solution as the housing of the kiosk. But this was not the only reason for relying on the containers of the CHS Container Group! We were able to build the new rooms quickly and straightforward and set them up at the place of destination. In a period of only eight weeks, we converted and repainted two 40-foot containers into a kiosk with toilets and a material store for food and sports equipment.

The kiosk and the barrier-free toilets are open seasonally from April to October. We wish all visitors a lot of fun in the Überseepark!
